Farm management SaaS

Run work, production, people, inventory, and costs from the same record.

Farm40 keeps the records a working farm uses every day - crops, livestock, labor, inventory, documents, equipment, sales, and money - so the operation has one shared history instead of scattered notes.

Ask your own records a question.

“Which enterprise cost the most to run?” “Is any group under a withdrawal window?” The assistant reads the records you already logged and answers in a sentence — no spreadsheet, no export, no report to build first.

  • It sees your farm and no other. Your data is scoped at the database, not asked nicely in a prompt. The assistant is handed a read-only connection bound to your account: another farm’s records cannot be requested, because they cannot be addressed.
  • It never makes a number up. Every figure it quotes is calculated by the same code that draws your dashboard. It does no arithmetic of its own — and it tells you which of your records it read to answer.
  • It says when it doesn’t know. If your records don’t contain the answer, it tells you which screen to record it on. It will not guess about a withdrawal date.

10 questions a month are free on every account, including the 7-day card-on-file trial. The add-on is $20/mo for 500 questions a month, and you can cancel it without touching your plan.

Is any livestock group under a withdrawal window right now?

Yes. Your Spring calving pairs group is under a withdrawal window for Pinkeye vaccine and must not be sold for the food supply. The withdrawal clears in 14 days.

What was my gross margin?

Your gross margin is $33,427.00. Product sales made up $92,884.00 of your total revenue of $107,326.00, with the remainder coming from other income.

This is what the record looks like

Set it up in an afternoon. Run tomorrow from it.

No stock photos here — these are real screens from the live demo you can open right now. Log the work, see what is due, and export the report when you need it.

01

Log what you do

Work orders, field activity, input applications, livestock events, and labor are recorded where the work happens, tied back to the farm, field, group, person, and enterprise.

Let the record run the next step

A treatment opens a withdrawal window. A task lands on the work board. An expiring document moves from memory to the calendar. The record becomes part of the operation.

Why the records matter

The operating questions your records should answer.

Farm40 is new and we won't fake testimonials — open the demo and judge the records yourself. These are the day-to-day questions the system is built to answer before anyone asks you to rebuild them.

Daily work

  • Which tasks are planned, late, blocked, or done?
  • Who did the work, and where did it happen?
  • What still needs attention before the week gets away?

Production records

  • What was planted, scouted, treated, harvested, or fed?
  • Which field, lot, group, or enterprise does it belong to?
  • What inventory, labor, and cost did the work consume?

Business view

  • Which enterprises are producing margin?
  • Which inventory lots are low or expiring?
  • Which reports can you export instead of rebuilding?

Livestock

Not just crops. The herd is on the record too.

Most operations are mixed, so Farm40 keeps animals with the same rigor as fields. Track groups by species, breed, and head count, and log every animal event — movement, treatment, breeding, birth, death, weight, and feeding — against the group it belongs to.

  • Treatments record the drug, dose, and route — and open a withdrawal window automatically
  • Breeding records and group weight records track gain over time
  • Feed records tie ration and cost to the group that ate it
Withdrawal until Jul 22Sale blocked

Record a treatment and Farm40 blocks the sale of that animal until its withdrawal window clears — so an unsafe animal never leaves the gate on paperwork you didn't check. No spreadsheet does that.

Operational traceability

Connect the work from input to lot to sale.

Every input application records its active ingredient, rate, lot number, REI hours, and PHI days. Every livestock treatment tracks its withdrawal window. Every harvest gets a lot code. Because those records live in one system, the traceability packet joins each lot to the inputs applied to it and the customers it shipped to.

Traceability packet

Joins each harvest lot to the inputs applied to it and the customers it shipped to — the whole chain in one export.

Chemical & input use

Every application with product, active ingredient, rate, lot, REI, and PHI.

Livestock treatment log

Treatments and withdrawal windows by animal and group.

Cost of production

By farm and by enterprise, with labor and inputs rolled in.
