Two plans. One is free forever.

The only difference is how many farms you run. Every feature — crops, livestock, labor, inventory, documents, financials, and all twelve reports — is in both plans.

Free

$0forever

For a single farm getting on the record.

Pro

Unlimited

For operations running more than one farm.

Unlimited farms

No credit card to start · or try the live demo, no signup

Crops and livestock, together — for a flat $19

Most tools are cheap in one lane and expensive the moment you need both. Keeping crops and livestock in one place usually means a top-tier plan or running two apps.

Farm40

$19/mo flat

Crops + livestock, unlimited farms, every feature.

Farmbrite Complete

$59/mo

The tier that covers crops and livestock together.

AgriWebb

And it meters per head — the bill grows as the herd does.

Competitor prices from their public pricing pages, July 2026. Plans and features differ — compare what each covers, not just the number.

We will never charge you per animal or per acre.

Flat pricing, on principle. A farm that grows shouldn't get a bigger bill for the same software. And because a treatment opens a withdrawal window automatically, Farm40 won't let you sell an animal that's still in withdrawal.

Questions

What's the catch with the free plan?

There isn't one beyond the count. Free is limited to a single farm. Every module, every report, and the traceability packet are all included — no feature is held back, and you never enter a card to use it.

Is there a trial or a credit card?

No trial clock and no card to start. The free plan is free indefinitely. You only pay when you add a second farm and move to Pro.

Does it work on my phone in the field, or offline?

Farm40 is a website, so it works in the truck, the barn, or the field — anywhere you have a signal — and a record takes under a minute to enter. Being honest: there's no native app to install and no offline mode, so you do need a connection when you record. If your fields have no signal, log it when you're back in range.

Can I import my existing spreadsheet?

Not yet — there's no spreadsheet import today, so you'd set up farms and start logging fresh. Export goes the other way: every report is a CSV you can pull any time, so your records are never locked in.

Who owns my data?

You do. We don't sell it or share it with advertisers, and you can export every record as CSV whenever you want. The details are in our privacy policy.

What happens if I cancel?

Every farm you've created stays fully readable and writable — you keep logging and exporting. Canceling only stops you from creating a new farm beyond the free limit of one. Nothing is locked, deleted, or held hostage.

How many people can use it?

One login per account. Farm40 is built for a single operator today — there are no separate seats, roles, or team logins yet.

What counts as a farm?

A farm is the top-level operation you map fields, livestock, and records under. If you run one operation, the free plan covers you. If you manage several distinct operations, that's when Pro's unlimited farms matters.

Can I try it before signing up?

Yes. The live demo needs no account — real screens with sample data. Open it, click around, then decide.
