How does the card-on-file trial work?
You start a 7-day trial with a card on file. Nothing is due today, and you can cancel anytime before day 7 and pay nothing. If you don't cancel, it becomes $19 a month. Want to look first without a card? The live demo needs no signup at all.
Does it work on my phone in the field, or offline?
Farm40 is a website, so it works in the truck, the barn, or the field — anywhere you have a signal — and a record takes under a minute to enter. Being honest: there's no native app to install and no offline mode, so you do need a connection when you record. If your fields have no signal, log it when you're back in range.
Can I import my existing spreadsheet?
Yes for the two import paths farmers most often need first: livestock groups and field planting records. Upload a CSV, preview the rows, then commit the records into the farm you choose. Other modules still start with manual entry, and every report exports back out as CSV.
Who owns my data?
You do. We don't sell it or share it with advertisers, and you can export every record as CSV whenever you want. The details are in our privacy policy.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Cancel later and billing stops at the end of the period. Your records are never deleted or held hostage — every report is a CSV you can export on your way out.
How many people can use it?
One login per account. Farm40 is built for a single operator today — there are no separate seats, roles, or team logins yet.
What counts as a farm?
A farm is the top-level operation you map fields, livestock, and records under. Run one or several — the plan includes unlimited farms, so a mixed or multi-site operation is covered at the same flat price.
Can I try it before signing up?
